Coaching Vs. Therapy
I am permitted to offer psychotherapy in Germany (health practitioner law - essentially an exam to make sure I know when to refer people out). However, the services I am offering on this website are not psychotherapy, but coaching. I’m pretty good at offering coaching to people who are highly sensitive for whatever reason (in fact, this is one of the things you might like best about working with me) and if you are having a bad day, you don’t have to fake being okay when you aren’t. But if we decide to work together, I am taking you on as a coaching client, not as a psychotherapy client. Besides not talking about your mother or your past (unless you absolutely want to), my work doesn’t focus on healing mental health challenges. If you are seriously struggling, please make sure to see someone specialized in that. However, if you feel that having some resource-oriented conversations in addition to whatever other support your are receiving would be useful, I am happy to see you.
